AI Usage Disclosure

Our AI Principles

Common Sense Global believes that AI should augment human editorial judgment, never replace it. We are committed to full transparency about when and how AI is used on our platform.

Where AI Is Used

  • Supplementary analysis of source coverage patterns
  • Identification of potential areas of agreement, disagreement, and omission
  • Corroboration scoring assistance

Where AI Is Not Used

  • AI does not write source summaries (these are human-authored)
  • AI does not make editorial decisions about which stories to cover
  • AI does not determine truth, accuracy, or factual validity
  • AI does not classify source leanings or types

Labeling Standards

All AI-generated or AI-assisted content on CSG carries the label: “AI-assisted analysis — not a factual determination.” Additionally, AI analysis includes a corroboration indicator (low, moderate, high) reflecting the degree of source agreement identified.

Model Information

CSG uses large language models for analytical assistance. We do not disclose specific model versions to prevent gaming, but we regularly evaluate and update our AI tools for accuracy and bias reduction.

Feedback

If you believe AI-generated content on CSG contains errors or bias, please contact us at [email protected]. We take all feedback seriously and will review flagged content promptly.
